El pasado 22 de enero de 2024 se firmó el acuerdo entre la Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios de México, representada por su presidente Miguel Lemus, y la Asociación empresarial México-España, representada por su presidenta Ángela de Miguel Sanz.
Ofició como testigo de honor el Excmo. Secretario de Turismo de México Don Miguel Torruco.
A tan emotivo acto acudieron importantes empresarios del sector e inversores, que quisieron acompañarnos en la Embajada de México en España, donde hizo de anfitrión Don Oscar Pérez Barros, Secretario de Asuntos Económicos y Turísticos de la Embajada de México.
En su intervención, Don Miguel Torruco dio una perspectiva de presente y futuro del turismo en México y habló de la importancia de la inversión española en el Caribe mexicano, donde el 70% de los hoteles de Cancún están gestionados por empresas españolas. El tren Maya se constituye como un eje vertebrador del territorio, que conectará el sur de país. De acuerdo a información del Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo (FONATUR) el recorrido del Tren Maya será de 1.554 kilómetros en los Estados de Chiapas, Campeche, Tabasco, Yucatán y Quintana Roo. A lo largo de la ruta se contarán con paraderos y 16 estaciones cercanas a zonas turísticas y distintos aeropuertos, lo que dará un impulso al desarrollo del turismo en este entorno privilegiado. El nuevo aeropuerto de Tulum mejorará la conectividad, lo que facilitará el desarrollo del sur de la costa de Quintana Roo.
El Estado de Quintana Roo continúa ofreciendo interesantes posibilidades de inversión para la empresa española, con un nuevo modelo de desarrollo turístico en el Sur, que incluye hoteles boutique, y proyectos de inversión desde 2 millones de euros hasta los más exclusivos resort ecosostenibles.
La firma de este acuerdo pretende acercar a las empresas españolas oportunidades de inversión en Quintana Roo, así como contar con el apoyo técnico necesario para llevarlas a cabo con las máximas garantías.
